Flirting with Love is the 10th book in the The Bradens and the 18th book in the Love in Bloom Series.
Elisabeth Nash has spent years dreaming of returning to the small town of Trusty, Colorado, where she spent summers with her favorite aunt. When she inherits her aunt’s farmette, she closes her Los Angeles pet bakery and pampering business, sure that life in Trusty will be as peaceful and as welcoming as she remembers. But being an outsider in the close-knit town proves to be very different from the happy summers she remembers from her childhood–and falling for Trusty’s hot, wealthy, and sinfully irresistible veterinarian, Ross Braden, sends the rumor mill into a frenzy.
Ross Braden learned long ago that gossip spreads faster than weeds in his small hometown, and Ross loves nothing more than his privacy. For that reason, he doesn’t date women who live in Trusty. But that was before blond, beautiful, and refreshingly honest Elisabeth Nash flew into his vet clinic seeking help for her panicked piglet and turned his comfortable life–and his heart–inside out.
Despite rumors about Elisabeth’s motives toward her aunt’s property, passion brews between Elisabeth and Ross. Every steamy kiss and every sensual touch brings the pair closer together, and when Ross helps Elisabeth try to fit into the town he adores, it makes their bond even stronger. But even Elisabeth’s efforts toward reaching the community, and the love she and Ross so desperately believe in, might not be enough for the protective small town to offer them a future…
“You’re singing. In the dark. To the cow.” Lucky Cow – Ross
Ross Braden – dark hair, dark eyes and just all round sexy – is the small town of Tusty’s vet. Ross has avoided dating women from his home town for more than ten years, because people in Trusty talk … a lot, and it’s no different when the gorgeous new-girl-in-town, Elisabeth, barges into his practice with a squealing piglet, and chaos follows.
Elisabeth Nash has just moved from LA to Trusty with the passing of her aunt Cora. Elisabeth had spent holidays in Trusty with her aunt when she was growing up, and had long since lost her heart to the small town, always knowing that she would one day return.
Ross and Elisabeth both believe in love, fate and all things fuzzy, as well as being animal lovers, and the spark between them is instant and perfect!
“I don’t do inappropriate. Unless you want me to.” – are you kidding! HOT HOT HOT If Dr. Hot and Sexy, able to handle chaos without so much as a flinch, uttered those words to me I’d also turn into a staring, babbling idiot!
Fun, loving and deep, the characters are all real and you feel like you’re a part of their lives.
Storm and Trout’s relationship intrigued me just as much as Ross and Trout’s relationship did and I’m so glad that the author opened him up, truly heartwarming.
I love the back story of the town, as always. Now throw in some quirky and lovable animals; Dolly – the cow that sprouted wings, Chip and Dale – the goats, ALL the dogs, especially Knight, Sarge, Ranger and Storm, the town folk and the rest of the Braden boys and their girls and you have the perfect story!
Can’t wait for Jake and Emily to find their perfect matches and join the other Braden siblings in coupledom.
Thank you Ms Foster for welcoming us into the Braden’s world!
